[WATCH] La La Land

La La Land Written and directed by Academy Award (R) nominee Damien Chazelle, LA LA LAND tells the story of Mia [Emma Stone], an aspiring actress, and Sebastian [Ryan Gosling], a dedicated jazz musician, who are struggling to make ends meet in a city known for crushing hopes and breaking hearts. Set in modern day Los Angeles, this original musical about everyday life explores the joy and pain of pursuing your dreams.

La La Land Mia, an aspiring actress, serves lattes to movie stars in between auditions and Sebastian, a jazz musician, scrapes by playing cocktail party gigs in dingy bars, but as success mounts they are faced with decisions that begin to fray the fragile fabric of their love affair, and the dreams they worked so hard to maintain in each other threaten to rip them apart.

La La Land The lead characters may be struggling in certain fields but it is their dreams they are chasing at the end of the day...Something we all have done or are in the process of doing. This makes you quickly feel like you know these people and what they're going through. Throw in some comedy, love, drama and magical soundtracks as well as sequences and you have yourself a masterpiece. I really haven't seen anything like this in a very long time. Damien Chazelle has proved himself again and is definitely someone to lookout for for years to come!
